Editorial standards and corrections
These standards explain how The FY Times researches, attributes and updates its business intelligence.
Sourcing and attribution
Current-affairs analysis should rely on multiple independent sources. Primary documents, official data, filings and direct statements are preferred. Sources must support the claims for which they are cited.
AI-assisted production
Automation can support discovery, drafting and editing, but it must not fabricate reporting. Source-grounded automated work is checked for current research, independent domains, visible attribution, duplication and unsupported claims before scheduling.
Bylines
Named contributors are credited when an individual reports, writes or reviews a piece. The FY Times Research Desk is used as an organisational byline for desk-produced analysis and does not imply a fictional person.
Corrections
Material factual errors are corrected promptly once verified. Substantive changes should be reflected in the updated date or an editor's note; cosmetic changes should not be presented as fresh reporting.
Commercial separation
